North South University HackNSU Season 3 Winner
Project: RITU
I led a team that won a national hackathon by developing RITU (Bengali for seasons), a sustainability-focused mobile application designed around seasonal challenges. The platform encouraged users to complete real-world environmental tasks - such as planting trees, recycling plastic, or replacing filament bulbs with energy-efficient alternatives - and upload video proof through the app to earn points and compete for cash prizes. Tasks were tailored to different seasons to maintain engagement throughout the year. We built the application using Java and JavaFX, integrating it with a MySQL database to manage user accounts, submissions, and scoring logic. -
March 2022
BRAC University Odommo'50 Techfest Hackathon 1st Runner Up
My team and I secured First Runner-Up by developing an autonomous firefighting robot capable of navigating to GPS coordinates transmitted over the internet and detecting active fire zones using a combination of flame, temperature, and ultrasonic sensors for obstacle avoidance. Upon identifying a fire source, the robot activated a controlled fire-suppression mechanism to extinguish it. We developed the autonomous navigation system using ROS and Python, implementing real-time localization and path planning, and engineered the hardware around an ESP32 microcontroller with socket-based communication for remote command transmission. The project integrated robotics, embedded systems, and networked control to deliver a functional prototype for rapid-response disaster scenarios.

April 2022
Independent University Bangladesh Green Genius Season 3 First Runner Up
I presented RITU - a sustainability-focused application developed initially at HackNSU - as a proposed solution to address climate change through gamified, season-based challenges. The platform encouraged users to complete real-world environmental tasks and compete through a structured points-and-rewards system designed to promote sustained engagement. The demonstration highlighted the application’s core features, user workflow, and backend infrastructure. The project was awarded First Runner-Up for its innovation and practical approach to promoting sustainable behavior.

October 2023
Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology BUET CSE Fest Hackathon First Runner Up
I led the development of a Web3-based digital art marketplace built on Ethereum, designed to enable secure, verifiable ownership and transfer of artwork through blockchain transactions. We engineered the platform using Solidity to write and deploy smart contracts for minting, authentication, and peer-to-peer transactions, and leveraged Foundry for testing and contract security. The frontend was developed in React and integrated with MetaMask to facilitate seamless Ether-based payments and wallet authentication. The platform ensured provenance transparency and tamper-proof ownership records through on-chain verification. Competing against 40 teams and over 120 students from leading universities across Bangladesh, our solution placed 2nd overall for its technical execution and innovation in decentralized asset exchange.
